Mining
Mining
Katalyst Data Management has been at the forefront of adapting and adopting oil and gas data management practices for the minerals exploration industry. Since early 2023, we have been working with mining operators, application vendors, and technology service providers to deploy and test at scale enterprise level data platforms and architectures.
We have been involved with the development of data models on the OSDU ™ data platform to support geochemical, geophysical, geotechnical drilling, lithology, sample assay and core photo data with both large and small mining operators. We have also participated in working groups and special interest groups to develop and deploy solutions that address technical assurance, data quality, geospatial data consumption, and external data services.
Our solutions are driving the mining industry vision that, according to the Practice Lead for Predictive Capability at one of our latest customers, “in mineral exploration, finding our own data should not be our biggest challenge”.
