Digital Transformation for E&P Data on a Global Scale
Learn More at APGCE #S10
Katalyst Data Management is looking forward to exhibiting once again at the Asia Petroleum Geoscience Conference and Exhibition (APGCE) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center on 29-30 October 2019. The theme for this year’s event is “Fresh Ideas. New Frontiers.” The digital transformation of oil and gas data management is a new frontier for many players in the upstream sector, and we are excited to be at the forefront of the process with five global data centres ready to begin the journey with subsurface data management.
Understanding the intricacies of seismic and well data, and all of the crucial metadata that add value to subsurface assets, is a key component of having a successful digital transformation program. Data quality does not only apply to the acquisition process, but also to the storage and management process. Seismic and well data experience is critical to the asset management for geoscience data and has been applied throughout the development and enhancements of our iGlass solution for subsurface data management.
In addition to iGlass demos, visitors at APGCE will also be able to learn the latest updates on our new full service data centre in Kuala Lumpur, announced earlier this year. Having global locations helps us navigate some of the data sovereignty regulations for various countries and better serve the operators within the region. Our iGlass solution is also designed to accommodate companies who prefer to host their data within a cloud or multi-cloud environment.
