Our Calgary office is excited to be able to support the seismic and well data management community at the PPDM Calgary Data Management Symposium taking place on October 23-25, 2017 at the Telus Spark Science Centre. In addition to sponsoring the event, our own Trish Mulder will be participating in a joint interactive session that will focus on seismic data governance.
The 2017 Calgary Data Management Symposium, Trade Show & Annual General Meeting is a two-day event featuring plenary presentations, a keynote speaker, interactive discussions, breakout sessions and networking opportunities.
The joint interactive session will be led by Trish Mulder with Katalyst and Sue Carr of Galaxy DAIMS, titled “Is Your Operating License at Risk?” Trish will co-present a theoretical case study about a company that is newly formed by purchasing some assets which include subsurface data. Participants will be able to assess their own companies as they step through the process. The session will address questions such as, “Is your seismic compliant? How do you know?” and “Could you pass a seismic audit?”
